Ana Catarina Simões
Policy Analyst
Ana Catarina Simões is a Policy Analyst in the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe programme at the European Policy Centre (EPC). Her work centres on the energy transition, focusing on the integration of EU and international regulatory frameworks, corporate sustainability, sustainable land management, and energy systems.
Before joining EPC, Ana Catarina gained experience in energy efficiency, corporate sustainability, and regulatory analysis, contributing to projects focused on enhancing energy conservation and sustainable practices. She holds an MSc in Global Energy Transition and Governance from CIFE and a BA in European Studies with Sociology from the University of Lisbon and University of Greenwich.
She is passionate about finding innovative solutions that align with the EU’s sustainability goals, ensuring that policy developments in energy and resource management contribute to a more resilient and prosperous Europe.
