This EPC Policy Dialogue organised in partnership with Internationale Politik Quarterly (IPQ), will examine recent developments and provide a forward look on the European security and defence initiatives in the new EU political cycle.

The debate will also draw on the latest IPQ Fall Issue which analyses topics such as the agenda of the incoming European Defence Commissioner, ways to strengthen European defence policies, options for financing European defence requirements, and strategies to enhance cooperation with partners.

Specific emphasis will be placed on the impact of a second Trump administration and its potential policies on European defence as well as how Europeans should approach and prepare for potential shifts in the transatlantic defence relationship.

Participation is open to EPC members only, the media, and EU officials
