Mihai Palimariciuc joined the European Policy Centre in February 2019 and works as a policy analyst within the Social Europe and Well-being Programme. His work revolves around EU social policies, the future of work, and social protection systems. During his time with the EPC, Mihai researched the impact of digitalisation on the labour market, upskilling and reskilling, access to social protection, and policy responses for atypical and platform work. He also wrote on the affordable housing market as well as public service performance, employment, and working conditions.

Prior to joining the EPC, Mihai worked in the management consulting business, where he evaluated European social policy. During his internship with Ramboll Management Consulting, he worked on employment, migration, and digital policy.

He holds a master’s degree in European and Comparative Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University.
